First of all, we are sad to hear that you have left our community. We know that plans changed suddenly, and things shifted quickly across the world. If you chose to vacate your space, our regular termination policies still apply. Please check your agreement or with your Basecamp Manager for exact termination terms. We are not able to allow early termination outside of the prescribed terms at this time.

Basecamp remains open and we do our utmost to provide great services to our community and make them feel safe. The COVID19 situation gives us all uncertainty, however, universities have only suspended their classes for a short period and are eager to open their campuses as soon as possible. Your tenancy agreement is not impacted by this occasion.

What are the symptoms of the coronavirus?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some patients may have aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhoea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people become infected but don’t develop any symptoms and don’t feel unwell. Most people (about 80%) recover from the disease without needing special treatment. Around 1 out of every 6 people who get COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illnesses. About 2% of people with the disease have died. People with fever, cough and difficulty breathing should seek medical attention.
