Various options are available for you to choose from, but the minimum stay offered at Basecamp is a semester.

What documents do I need?

1. A copy of your passport (or local ID card for EU nationals) and 2. A university acceptance letter or copy of the student card if you are already studying.

When can I move in to Basecamp?

We are ready to welcome you on the first day of tenancy. Reception desk is opened 24h. Additional information and keys will be handed out by the reception.

What do I have to bring?

You need to supply your bedding and towels, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Our team can help you look for the best deals and offer advice on where to find everything you might need. You can also buy our Base Relax package. Add a pack of room essentials to your booking and enjoy a comfortable and smooth move in. It comes with a duvet, duvet cover, bed sheet, pillow and pillow cover.

All Basecampers are requested to be respectful of other Basecampers. Noise levels should be kept to a minimum during the hours posted at the property.

What is the process for moving out?

Before you leave you have to empty, tidy and clean your room and make an appointment for the room inspection. The local team will come to check your room for cleanliness and any damages. You need to return your key. The deposit will be returned after your tenancy has ended and the rental payments or any damages for which you are responsible have been fully paid.

Our favourite things to do in Wrocław

Neon Side Gallery

This glowing neon alley is one of Wroclaw’s best hidden gems. The walls of a courtyard are covered in old neon signs that have been collected from all over Poland, while local street artists have filled the blank spaces in between with stunning graffiti. A great spot for anyone interested in street photography.

Wroclaw Dwarves around our student dormitory

Wrocław Dwarves

In the 1980s, the Orange Alternative protest group voiced their opposition to the communist regime in whimsical ways and the first Wrocław dwarf was a mascot to that approach. Today there are more than 600 dwarves hiding in plain sight around the city. 3 of them are hidden in our facility!For those looking for these little metal men, maps and GPS coordinates are available at tourist shops. Happy hunting.

Train to Heaven

A 90-ton, gravity defying train shoots for the stars in this striking piece of public artwork. Standing at nearly 70 feet tall, this incredible artwork began its existence in 1944 as a fully functional Ty2 steam locomotive. You’ll find it on the main route into the city from the airport.

Hydropolis

Built in 1893, this underground cistern was used as a clean water store until as recently as 2011. Four years later the site was converted into an interactive educational shrine to water, honouring its fundamental role in our biological and cultural lives, as well as in our environment, planet, and the wider universe.

Rynek

The social and cultural centre of Wrocław: a place of happenings, concerts and performance art, lined with terraced cafes and restaurants. Originally constructed in the 13th century, it was rebuilt in the 1950s following World War II. As such, much of what you see today is a façade, quite literally. The frontages are accurate but what lies behind received an understandable upgrade.
